The Playboys were formed in 1970 as a Latin-American group.

The band took a musical change to incorporate more top 40 material into their repertoire.
With the powerful lead vocals of  Carlos Nunes a modern club show band was created.

Their well rehearsed music and stage professionalism, made them popular with all age groups.

The Playboys continued to cater for cabarets, weddings and balls until 1975.

I've checked through my records and it appears the original Playboys that are shown on the site including Carlos and John Mikita started in April 1970 after I left the Second Movement. We were together till about 1975.
